Jamieson Place is a 172 meter tall office building in Calgary , Alberta , Canada . Construction work on the building began in 2007. The building opened in 2010 and has 38 floors as well as a fitness center and winter garden. It was designed by Gibbs Gage Architects . The facade is made of granite and glass. The building is located on a three-story podium that is open to the public. It was named after Alice Jamieson , a Canadian feminist who campaigned for political and social gender equality in 1913.
