Jan Chvojka
Jan Chvojka (born December 17, 1980 in Hlinsko ) is a Czech lawyer and politician. From December 2016 to December 2017 he was Minister for Human Rights and Equality in the Bohuslav Sobotka government .
Chvojka studied law at the law faculties of Masaryk University in Brno and Charles University in Prague, where he received his doctorate in 2009. He works as a lawyer in the field of regional development for the Pardubický kraj .
Chvojka has been a member of the Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) since 2007 and a member of the House of Representatives since 2010 . After Jiří Dienstbier was recalled , Chvojka became his successor and took up the post of Minister for Human Rights and Equality (excluding portfolio ) and Chairman of the Government's Legislative Council on December 1, 2016 .
