Jan Dieckmann

Jan Dieckmann (* 1958 ) is a German Protestant theologian , pastor and was the presenter of the Tacheles program .

Life

Jan Dieckmann studied theology and education. He worked for two years in the press office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover . Subsequently, Jan Dieckmann was parish pastor in Garbsen for seven years and also press spokesman for the church district. Dieckmann completed additional training at the Christian press academy and wrote devotions for the NDR . Jan Dieckmann founded the Open Canal Hanover . From 1998 Dieckmann worked in the Hanover editorial team of the Evangelical Radio and Television Church in NDR . Since April 2001 he has been the radio and television representative for the North German Evangelical Churches at NDR and head of the Evangelical Radio Church in Hamburg. He is the host of the radio program , frankly, in the NDR. From 1999 to 2005 and from 2009 to 2014 he moderated the television program Tacheles.
