Chen Li (mathematician)

Li Chen ( Chinese  陈丽 , Pinyin Chén Lì ; born March 9, 1973 ) is a German mathematician .

Life

She received her doctorate from Jilin University in Changchun in 2001 and was a postdoc at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Mainz University . From 2003 to 2014 she was an Associate Professor at Tsinghua University , Beijing. Since 2014 she has held the Chair of Mathematics IV at the University of Mannheim . She held visiting professorships in L'Aquila (Italy) and Munich . She works on partial differential equations , mathematical physics and biomathematics .
