Jan Holger Eriksson (born January 14, 1958 in Kramfors ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
Jan Eriksson began his career as a hockey player at MoDo AIK , for whose professional team he was active from 1976 to 1982 in the Elitserien , the highest Swedish league. With MoDO he won the national championship title in the 1978/79 season . For the 1982/83 season , the defender moved within the Elitserien to reigning champions AIK Solna . There he stayed during the championship season 1983/84 without a single use. With AIK he rose in the 1985/86 season from the second-rate Division 1 , from which he and his team achieved direct promotion to the Elitserien in the following season . The Swede last ran from 1988 to 1990 for the Elitserien participant Västerås IK before ending his career at the age of 32.
International
For Sweden Eriksson took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 1978 and the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . He and his team won the silver medal at the U20 World Cup and the bronze medal at the Winter Games.
