Jan Kmoch (born September 19, 1951 in Prague ) is a Czech football coach .
Player career
Kmoch played for FC Jílové in his youth. In the men's area he was active with the exception of his military service at RH Praha and his last station Tesla Karlín for Čechie Karlín.
Coaching career
From 1986 to 1999 Kmoch worked as a youth coach at Slavia Prague . In 1998 he led the club's A-Juniors to the Czech championship.
In the 1999/00 season he trained Motorlet Prague , then for a year Viktoria Žižkov's B team . From 2001 to 2003 he was in charge of the Bohemians Prague juniors . Kmoch coached FC MUS Most in the 2003/04 season . Then he coached the A-Juniors of Sparta Prague , with whom he became Czech champions.
In 2005 Kmoch went to the United Arab Emirates and coached al-Wasl's team . The following season he sat in the dugout of the Saudi Arabian club Al Khaleej Saihat . In 2007 Kmoch returned to the Czech Republic and led the Sparta Prague B team from the third to the second division .
In the summer of 2008, at the age of 57, he got the chance to coach a first division team at Dynamo České Budějovice . After only four game days and one point, Kmoch was released on August 26, 2008.
