Jean-Daniel Masserey

Jean-Daniel Masserey (born February 27, 1972 ) is a Swiss ski mountaineer , civil engineer and architect . He graduated from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne in 1996 , a year later became a member of the Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects, and in 2001 he founded the company MJD, a construction and architecture office in Haute Nendaz .

Successes (selection)

• 1999: 7th place at the Pierra Menta with Jean-Yves Rey
• 2000: 2nd place (and thus 1st place among the non-military) in the Patrouille des Glaciers with Pierre-Marie Taramarcaz and Jean-Yves Rey
• 2003: 6th place at the European Ski Mountaineering Team with Jean-Yves Rey
• 2004: 2nd place in the Patrouille des Glaciers with Pierre-Marie Taramarcaz and Jean-Yves Rey
• 2005: 7th place at the European Ski Mountaineering Team with Jean-Yves Rey
