Jan Schiecke

Jan Schiecke (born April 15, 1981 in Berlin ) is a former German basketball official and player.

Life

Schiecke studied at the German Sport University Cologne and worked as a basketball journalist, in the 2007/08 season he worked for the Bundesliga club Köln 99ers in the area of ​​press work and player support. During the summer break of 2008 he moved to the BG Göttingen as a team manager within the league . In the 2009/10 season Schiecke was also used as a player with the "Veilchen": He played in three Bundesliga and one European Cup game. In May 2011 he was promoted to sports director in Göttingen and sometimes also held the office of co-trainer. He worked for the BG Göttingen until 2012.
