Jan Weissenbruch
Jan Weissenbruch (born March 18, 1822 in The Hague ; † February 15, 1880 there ) was a painter from the Netherlands .
Jan Weissenbruch was a nephew of Johan Hendrik Weissenbruch . He studied at the Hague Art Academy between 1839 and 1847. Together with Johan Willem he was one of the founders of the Pulchri Studio group of artists . Above all, he painted meticulously precise city views, including a. with bridges, canals, etc. His work is less valued than that of his better known uncle.
