Jan de Visser (soccer player)

Jan de Visser (born January 1, 1968 in Hoorn ) is a former Dutch football player .

Career

The defender began his career in 1988 at AZ Alkmaar in the second division. For the 1991/92 season he moved to SC Heerenveen within the Eerste Divisie . With the club he reached the KNVB Cup final twice in 1993 and 1997 . After eight years in Heerenveen, Jan de Visser signed a contract with Dutch champions Feyenoord Rotterdam in 1999 , with whom he won the UEFA Cup in 2002 and where he subsequently ended his football career.
