Jan van der Aa
Jan van der Aa was probably a Dutch cartographer , who is only known for a payment of 300 kroner "for ain mappa or carten, if he, according to our bevelh, had geography made by the king of Hispania" in 1559. Perhaps he is Johann van der Aa, who was involved in building castles near Waidhofen an der Thaya around 1560 .
