Jana Šimánková

Jana Šimánková (born April 6, 1980 in Brno ) is a former Czech volleyball player who played on the position of the player.

Career

Šimánková signed her first professional contract in the 1999/2000 season with the Czech club VK Královo Pole. In the 2003/04 season she moved to Greece to play at the Panathinaikos club , with whom she won the Greek championship three times in a row. After further stints abroad, Šimánková ended her career in 2014 at the French club Paris Saint-Cloud, where she last played.

From 2000 to 2009, Šimánková was part of the Czech national women's volleyball team and was on the squad at the 2002 women's volleyball world championship in Germany.
