Janina Pfau (born October 12, 1983 in Plauen ) is a German political scientist and former member of the state parliament in Saxony ( Die Linke ).

Janina Pfau studied political science with a Magistra Artium (MA) degree. For her party she is a member of the community council of Neuensalz and the local council in Mechelgrün . In the state elections in Saxony in 2014 , she won a mandate on the state list. She was a member of the state parliament until 2019. At the state party conference of her party in November 2019, she was elected as state managing director with 55.2 percent of the vote, with no opposing candidates.
