Jarkko T. Laine

Jarkko T. Laine (* 1969 ) is a Finnish cameraman .

Life

After Jarkko T. Laine took over the camera in several short films during his studies at Aalto University in Helsinki, he decided to study at the Royal College of Art in London for two more years after graduating in 1995 . During this time he only concentrated on studying, so that he only returned to work as a cameraman in Finland after graduating in 1997. His first feature film that he took over the camera was the drama Kuningas Hidas , released in 2000 . Then he was responsible for the camera work of two internationally known Finnish productions by the director Klaus Härö with Elina and The Best Mother . For the latter, he was also awarded the Finnish Jussi Film Prize for Best Camera .

Laine currently lives in Tallinn , Estonia and is a member of the Finnish Society Of Cinematographers .
