Anna and Pete would be a happy couple if Pete didn't spend every free minute with his friends and soccer. Anna and the other partners offer the football crazy people a bet: They want to compete against the men, and if the women win, the subject of football should be over for all time.

“Finnish football comedy that plays with common stereotypes and takes the battle between the sexes on the pitch. The film seeks most of its comedy in the development of women from soccer ignorants to soccer fanatics. Well-intentioned, but absolutely predictable, "FC Venus" advertises ball sports and also relies on guest appearances by Finnish footballers Aki Riihilahti and Mikael Forssell . "
Remake
In 2006 the film was remade in Germany as FC Venus - attack is the best defense with Christian Ulmen and Nora Tschirner in the leading roles.
