Jarl Borssén

Jarl Anders Lennart Borssén (born March 14, 1937 in Borås, † December 21, 2012 in Munka-Ljungby , Skåne län ) was a Swedish actor and comedian .

Borssén had his first professional engagement in 1966 at the Folkan Theater in Stockholm. His breakthrough came in 1969 with the television series Partaj . In the erotic film Kyrkoherden (literally: The Pastor, German title: Die Mannstollen Women ) from the same year, Borssén played the leading role. In the 1970 film Pippi in Taka-Tuka-Land , he played the pirate captain Blutsvente . From 1976 to 1979 he played in Hagge Geigert's revue in Gothenburg. He became really popular through the television program Gäster med gester , which was broadcast from 1982.

After that, Borssén left the theater and instead gave lectures in subjects like sales and relationship technology. His return to the stage came at the turn of the millennium when he played the New Year's revue in his hometown of Borås.

As a storyteller, he is on the TV shows Pratmakarna ( The Chatterbox ) and Har you hear the förut? ( Have you heard? ) Occurred. He played a serious role in Carin Mannheimer's series Svenska hjärtan ( The Swedish Heart ).

Borssén had great success in the Arlövsrevue 2003-2005 and played there with Siw Malmkvist, Hasse “Kvinnaböske” Andersson, Monica Forsberg and Kent Nilsson, among others.
