Jaromír Jermář (born October 2, 1956 in Prague ) is a Czech historian and politician . Since October 28, 2006 he has represented Česká strana sociálně democická (ČSSD) in the Czech Senate .

Life

Jermář studied from 1975 to 1980 at the Charles University in Prague , where he received his PhDr. PhD. Since 1980 he has worked as a historian and ethnographer at the museum in Mladá Boleslav . In the Senate election on 20./21. In October 2006 he successfully ran for senator for the Mladá Boleslav and Turnov regions , whereupon he succeeded Jaroslav Mitlener in parliament.
