Jarosław Kamiński (politician)

Jarosław Kamiński , also Jaroslav Kaminski , (born May 8, 1965 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian politician of Polish origin, former Vice- Mayor of Vilnius.

Life

After graduating from the 11th Vilnius Middle School in 1983 , he studied at the Mathematics Faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1984 to 1986 he did compulsory service in the Soviet Army in Tallinn ( Estonia ). In 2003 he completed his bachelor's degree in sociology at the Vilniaus pedagoginis universitetas . From 1992 to 1999 he worked at the radio station " Znad Wilii " as music director. From 2003 he was advisor to the mayor in the district of Vilnius and teacher in Avižieniai . From 2007 he worked as an advisor to the Mayor of Vilnius Municipality . From December 15, 2010 to 2015, he was Deputy Mayor of Vilnius.

Kamiński is a member of Lietuvos lenkų rinkimų akcija .

Kamiński is married. With his wife Kristina he has the son Lukaš and the daughters Eliza and Kinga.
