Yaroslav Derega

Yaroslav Derega ( Ukrainian Ярослав Степанович Дереґа ) (born July 15, 1955 in Lviv , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian sinologist .

He studied in Lviv, Moscow and Beijing and teaches at the Ivan Franko University in Lviv .

Derega wrote the first textbook of the Chinese language “Китайська грамота для дорослих” (“Chinese for Adults”, 2006), the first textbook of the Chinese language for everyone to appear in Ukraine “Китайська ітелд 20 ід” 9 (“Chinese for Everyone”, 2009), and a textbook of the Chinese language for children “Знаки неба” (“Signs of Heaven”, 2010).
