Jason Michael Carroll
Jason Michael Carroll (born June 13, 1978 in Houston , Texas) is an American country singer and songwriter.
Carroll played in country bands in his native North Carolina until 2004, then won a television competition in his state and began his solo career.
With his debut album Waitin 'in the Country he immediately achieved an unusual breakthrough: Right away, he made it to number one on the country charts and number 8 on the official US album charts. His first two singles, Alyssa Lies and Livin 'Our Love Song , made it into the top 10 of the country charts and also hit the Hot 100.
