The steam locomotive series BEB IVa was a freight train - steam locomotive series of the Buschtěhrad Railway Company (BEB), which was very similar to the kkStB series  73 .

history

The five type D freight locomotives procured by the BEB were delivered by the First Bohemian-Moravian Machine Factory (BMMF) in 1909. They were classified as BEB IVa and were given the company numbers 351–355.

In contrast to the locomotives of the kkStB 73 series, the machines had a Clench type steam dryer. The 353 had somewhat different boiler dimensions (see table).

After nationalization in 1923, the five machines came to the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD), which gave them the designation 413.101-105. From 1939 to 1945 the Deutsche Reichsbahn ran the locomotives as class 55.15 (55 1501 to 55 1505). The locomotives in this series were taken out of service by 1965.
