Jason Wiechert
Jason McCarroll Wiechert (born January 24, 1980 in Colorado Springs , Colorado ) is an American actor and film producer .
Life
Shortly after his birth, his family moved to England , and later to Germany , where he spent the first ten years of his life. After returning to the United States, he attended Westview High School in Avondale , Arizona . He later attended the University of Arizona at Tucson . After college, and before he took up acting, he served in the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps Department of Defense . In 2018 he founded the film production company Falling Flame Pictures together with Charlotte Lilt . The two are also parents of a son.
He first had a role in the short film Lullabye in 2008 , for whose performance he received a nomination for Best Actor at the ZGI Short Film Festival in May 2008, where the film also premiered. This was followed by other casts in short films. In 2012 he played the role of Frank Sanders in the television series Best Friends . He was cast in the feature film Love a la Carte (2014) and Sarah & Summer - Together we are strong (2015). In 2014 he produced his first short film with Thicker Than Water . Wiechert has been producing films through his established film production company since 2018.
