action

In an African village, the boy Jasper wakes up and walks through the streets. He arrives at a field where a scarecrow gives him beans in exchange for his harmonica . She tells Jasper about the fairy tale Hans and the Beanstalk and claims that the beans have "black magic". Jasper rushes home to plant the beans. The scarecrow and the bird sitting on it make fun of Jasper's gullibility.

During the night the bean begins to sprout. It grows rapidly and takes Jasper with it in his bed. In the morning Jasper wakes up in a strange environment and goes in search of the magical harp. A bee shows him the way to the giant's castle. Once at the castle, Jasper listens to music. The giant sleeps and Jasper discovers a singing harp in the form of a woman on the table in a cage. Ask him to free her and Jasper opens the cage and carries the harp out. He makes such a noise that the giant wakes up. Jasper saves himself and the harp safely to the ground and drops the beanstalk. The next morning the scarecrow wakes up and is still amused by the trick she played on Jasper. She goes with the bird to Jasper's hut and sees the boy in it with the harp. The bird tells the scarecrow that the prank was the best lie of all time.
