action

Bulldog Spike tries in vain to sleep, but tomcat Tom chases Jerry the mouse in the same room. Spike threatens Tom to skin him alive if he keeps making noise. Jerry takes his chance and now throws light bulbs to the ground that Tom can catch shortly before the impact, tilts the wall clock that threatens to topple and keeps Tom on his toes. He in turn gives Spike knockout drops . Jerry's noise is now without consequences and the hunt begins again.

Jerry tries in vain to wake Spike and ends up placing an oversized stick of dynamite under him. While Tom tries to pull it out from under the sleeping dog, Spike wakes up. Tom changes his mind so as not to irritate the dog, and the dynamite explodes under him. Half skinned, Spike is now hunting Tom. In the end, Tom has to weigh a rocking bed with numerous bandages and a black eye, in which not only Spike, but also Jerry lies.
