Jaume Bartumeu Cassany
Jaume Bartumeu Cassany (born November 10, 1954 in Andorra la Vella ) is an Andorran politician and lawyer.
Life
In 2000 Cassany was one of the founding members of the Partit Socialdemòcrata party , which he chaired from 2000 to 2004. Cassany had been head of government in Andorra since June 5, 2009. After Jaume Bartumeu Cassany failed to find a majority in parliament in February 2011 for his budget and the introduction of an income tax , early parliamentary elections were held in Andorra on April 3, 2011. They lost the Social Democrats, and the liberal Antoni Martí Petit succeeded Jaume Bartumeu Cassany.
