The Social Democratic Party ( Catalan : Partit Socialdemòcrata) is a political party in Andorra , the current chairman is Vicenç Alay Ferrer .

In the elections on April 4, 2001, she received 30% of the vote, six of the 28 seats. She was able to increase this result in the parliamentary elections on April 24, 2005 to 38.1% of the vote, the number of seats increased to 11 out of a total of 28. She won the 2009 elections with 45.03% of the votes and had 14 MPs and the head of government. In the early elections on April 3, 2011, the Demòcrates won an absolute majority in Andorra . The Social Democrats came to 34.85% and only have six MPs.

The party is currently a full member of the Socialist International .
