Albert Pintat Santolària (born June 23, 1943 in Sant Julià de Lòria ) was head of government of Andorra from May 27, 2005 to June 5, 2009 ( catal. Cap de Govern ). He is married and has three children.

Pintat studied economics at the Catholic University in Friborg in Switzerland and graduated in 1967. He was the private secretary of his uncle, the Andorran Prime Minister Josep Pintat-Solans , from 1984 to 1985 , before becoming Minister for Foreign Trade. In 1986, Pintat was elected Principal Advisor, but lost his post in 1991. Pintat was appointed Andorra's ambassador for the Benelux countries and the European Union to Brussels , but returned to Andorra in 1997 to become foreign minister there. He held this post until 2001. Then Pintat worked again as a diplomat: first in Switzerland, then in the United Kingdom .

After the election victory of the Partit Liberal d'Andorra (Liberal Party of Andorra) on May 24, 2005, Pintat was appointed head of Andorra's government on May 27. He held this office until June 5, 2009.
