The Jaundhar Bamak Glacier (or Jaundhar Bamak ) is located in the Uttarkashi district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand .
The 19 km long glacier flows mainly in a south-westerly direction through the western Garhwal Himalayas . The glacier is located in the Yamuna catchment area . The Jaundhar Bamak Glacier feeds the Supin , the left source river of the clay . The glacier is framed by peaks up to 5800 m high. The Swargarohini (6252 m) rises south of the glacier. Below the glacier lies the Har-Ki-Doon valley.
