Jay Rumney

Jay Rumney (* 1905; † 1957) was a British sociologist and criminologist.

After studying economics, history and sociology at the University of London ( doctorate in 1933) Rumney became Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University in the USA in 1940 . His scientific interests were problems of urbanization , the sociology of crime and the sociology of war.
