Jean-Claude Bertrand (born August 5, 1954 ) is a French badminton player .

Career

Jean-Claude Bertrand was one of the preeminent figures in French badminton from the late 1970s to the late 1980s. He won his first national title in 1978 in mixed with Anne Méniane . With her he was able to win five more titles until 1988. In men's singles, he won the French championships for the first time in 1981. In 1983 he won another title in this discipline. In 1983 and 1986 he was successful in men's doubles. He won two other mixed titles with Catherine Lechalupé in 1982 and 1983.
