Jean-Claude Marcourt
Jean-Claude Marcourt (born October 16, 1956 in Awans , Liège province ) is a Belgian ( Walloon ) politician ( Parti socialiste ). Marcourt was Minister of Economy and Labor under the Walloon Prime Ministers Jean-Claude Van Cauwenberghe , Elio Di Rupo and Rudy Demotte . Since 2009 he has been Vice Prime Minister of Wallonia. In the 2009 European elections he was elected to Parliament, but its mandate laid down quickly.
