Jean-Claude Martinez

Jean-Claude Martinez (born July 30, 1945 in Sète ) is professor of constitutional law and author of several books on financial law. He was Vice President of the French National Front and a member of the European Parliament .

After graduating from his agrégation in law and political science, Martinez went to Morocco . From 1976 to 1980 he was director of studies at the École nationale d'administration (ENA) in Rabat . After returning to France in 1983, he received a professorship at the Law Faculty of the University of Paris II . In 1985 Martinez began to be politically active for the Front National, became a member of the National Assembly (1986–1988) for the Hérault department and in 1989 a member of the European Parliament. Martinez was also a member of the Regional Council of Languedoc-Roussillon from 1992 to 2004 .

Jean-Claude Martinez is the author of several non-fiction books with a focus on financial policy.
