Jean-Joël Perrier-Doumbé (born September 27, 1978 in Paris ) is a Cameroonian football player .

Career

Club career

Jean-Joël Perrier-Doumbé started his professional career in the 1997 season with the second team of the French second division club AJ Auxerre , before he was promoted to the first team in 1998. In his time at AJ Auxerre until 2004, he had 50 missions for his team. In 2004 Perrier-Doumbé moved to Stade Rennes in the first division , where he stayed for three years. During this time he completed 54 league games for the team. With the Bretons he did not get much time in the last season 2006/07, because he was prevented because of an arm injury and later the newly signed Mario Melchiot took his position. Celtic Glasgow finally signed Perrier-Doumbé after a short loan for six months and two weeks of trial training and brought him to Parkhead for £ 400,000 . In his three years at Celtic, however, he only made six appearances, but scored one goal. In 2009 Perrier-Doumbé returned to France, this time he moved to the first division club FC Toulouse . In the two years up to 2011 he had a total of three missions for the team before he left the club in 2011 and became a clubless because no new club could be found.

National team

Jean-Joël Perrier-Doumbé made his debut for the Cameroon national football team in 2003 . He completed a total of 19 international matches for Cameroon by 2006, but remained without a goal.
