Jean-Léon Reutter (* 1899 in Neuchâtel ; † 1971 ) was a Swiss engineer and inventor .

In 1928 he developed the Atmos table clock. This watch draws the mechanical energy for winding the mainspring from the smallest fluctuations in air pressure and temperature. A temperature change of 1  K (according to other information 2 K) is sufficient for an operating time of about 48 hours. The "Atmos" is still manufactured by the Swiss watch company Jaeger-LeCoultre and is the official state gift from Switzerland.
