Jean-Louis Fournier

Jean-Louis Fournier (born December 19, 1938 in Calais ) is a French writer, humorist and director.

Fournier worked at times with his friend Pierre Desproges .

In his most famous book, Où on va, papa? , titled Where are we going, Papa? appeared in German, he tells of his life with his two mentally and physically handicapped sons Mathieu and Thomas and of his desperation that communication with these children is not possible. The book was a bestseller in France in 2008 and received the Prix ​​Femina . It was nominated for the Prix ​​Goncourt .
