Jean-Luc Garnier

Jean-Luc Garnier (* 1957 in Roanne ) is a French chef .

Career

In 1985 Garnier and his partner Traudel Mayr opened the "Bründlhof" restaurant in Wartenberg . In 1998 the restaurant was awarded one star in the Michelin Guide , which it held until 2008 with an interruption from 2006 to 2007. At the end of 2008 it received another Michelin star.

At the end of 2008 the Garniers went to his home near Roanne and opened the "Relais d'Urfé" restaurant in Saint-Marcel-d'Urfé .

Private

He has been married to Traudel since 2003. They have two children, Catherine (* 1986) and Jules (* 1988).
