Jean-Pierre Daviet

Jean-Pierre Daviet is a French modern and economic historian and professor of contemporary history at Caen University .

Daviet studied at the École normal supérieure de Cachan.

He has published on the industrial and corporate history in France, including the Compagnie de Saint-Gobain and the nationalization of electricity in France, and he wrote reviews of French industrial history in the 18th and 19th centuries.
