Jean-Pierre Talbot
Jean-Pierre Talbot (born August 12, 1943 in Spa ) is a Belgian actor .
Jean-Pierre Talbot was discovered by a friend Hergés on the beach in Ostend. She compared him to Tim from Hergé's series Tintin and Struppi and therefore introduced him to Hergé because he was looking for an actor for the role of Tim . He then starred in the Tintin and Struppi films Tintin and Struppi and the Secret of the Golden Fleece ( Tintin et le mystère de la Toison d'Or , 1961) and Tintin and Struppi and the blue oranges ( Tintin et les oranges bleues , 1964) the main role. A third film was started but then canceled.
Talbot had no other film roles and later worked as a teacher. In 2007 he was seen in a documentary for Hergé's 100th birthday. Today he lives in Spa, is married and has a daughter and three grandchildren.
