Jean III Clement

Jean III Clément († 1260 ) Lord of Le Mez and Argentan , was Marshal of France .

He was the son of Henri I Clément and the father of Henri II Clément , both also Marshals of France. Jean III was made marshal by King Philip II immediately after the death of his father (1214) and in memory of his military achievements. However, he did not exercise the office until 1225.

He took part in the Assemblée des Grands de France , which was held in Saint-Denis in 1235 .
