Henri I. Clément (* 1170 ; † 1214 ) was Lord of Mez and Argentan and Marshal of France . Because of his small size he was called "Le petit Maréchal".

He is the younger son of Robert III. Clément († 1181) and brother of Marshal Albéric Clément .

With the death of Albérics he inherited the rule of Le Mez . Like his brother, he was appointed Marshal by Philip II August . As such, he commanded the French army in the conquest of Normandy from the English, which was successfully completed in 1204 and incorporated into the French crown domain . Due to his military successes he received the Norman barony of Argentan from King Philip II August as a hereditary fief.

In 1214 he fought with Prince Louis of France in Poitou against Johann Ohneland in the battle of Roche-aux-Moines . Shortly after the subsequent liberation of the city of Angers , he died of an illness and was buried in the Turpenay monastery .
