Daniel Navarro Garcia (born July 18, 1983 in Salamanca ) is a Spanish cyclist .

Career

Daniel Navarro began his career in 2005 with the Spanish ProTeam Liberty Seguros-Würth , having previously worked for their farm team for a year . With the stage win at the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré 2010, he celebrated his first international victory. Navarro was one of Alberto Contador's helpers in his victories at the 2010 Tour de France and the 2011 Giro d'Italia . He moved to Cofidis in 2013 , where he himself started as captain of the Tour de France 2013 and was noter in the overall standings. He finished the Vuelta a España 2014 in tenth overall and won a stage.
