Jean Marie Casal

Jean Marie Casal ( June 30, 1905 in Troyes - December 12, 1977 in Antibes ) was a French archaeologist and curator at the Museum Guimet ( Paris ) since 1957 , who had specialized in the study of the Indus culture and the prehistory of Afghanistan . One of his most important excavations was the uncovering of the Bronze Age city ​​of Mundigak in Afghanistan between 1951 and 1958.
