Jean Pierre Barrientos , full name Jean Pierre Agustín Barrientos Díaz , (born September 16, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.74 meter tall midfielder Barrientos was part of the squad of the Montevideo-based Racing Club at the beginning of his career since the Apertura 2008 . After at least 51 games and twelve goals for the club in the Primera División (2009/10: 23 games (3 goals); 2010/11: 28 (9); no data available for 2008/09) and eight appearances (no goal ) in the Copa Libertadores , he moved to Portugal to Vitória Guimarães in July 2011 . There he played 69 games in the Primeira Liga until the end of the 2013/14 season and scored three goals (2011/12: 26 (0); 2012/13: 17 (1); 2013/14: 26 (2)). He also ran three times (one goal) for the club's second team in the Segunda League in the 2012/13 season. In addition to national cup appearances, there are also five matches (no goal) of the Europa League with his participation. In the 2014/15 season he was not used in the top Portuguese division, but was used nine times (one goal) for the club's second representation in the Segunda Liga. During the season he moved to the Polish club Wisła Krakow on February 17, 2015 , for whom he played 16 times in the league and scored one goal. In July 2015 he returned to Racing in Montevideo and played all 15 top division games (three goals) for the two Uruguayans in Apertura 2015. In January 2016 he joined the Argentine first division club Olimpo de Bahía Blanca . There are seven appearances (no goal) in the Primera División for him. In July 2016, he started working for the Peruvian club FBC Melgar .
