Jeannine Auboyer

Jeannine Auboyer (born September 6, 1912 in Paris - † February 6, 1990 ) was a French curator of the Musée Guimet in Paris from 1965 to 1980 who undertook several archaeological expeditions to India and Cambodia and numerous French-language publications on the history and art history of India and Southeast Asia composed. She is known for her book about everyday life in ancient India (French: La Vie quotidienne dans l'Inde ancienne ) in the series La vie quotidienne, a record of ancient Indian rituals and customs, many of which are preserved in Indian society today.
