Jed Brophy

Jed Brophy (born October 29, 1963 in Taihape ) is a New Zealand actor .

Life

Jed Brophy plays mostly in New Zealand films, including many films by director Peter Jackson . Brophy played one of his first roles as Void in Jackson's Braindead . 1994 followed a supporting role in Heavenly Creatures . In the first part of The Lord of the Rings trilogy , Brophy played the role of a Nazgul. In The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, however, he played the wargan leader Sharku and the orc Snaga in 2002 , in the sequel The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Brophy played an orc, a rider Rohan and an elf. The next collaboration with Jackson followed in 2005 in King Kong . In the three-part film adaptation of The Hobbit , he played the role of the dwarf Nori .

Brophy has a son named Sadwyn Brophy , who also made a small appearance in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King .
