Jeferson Hiller (born November 30, 1998 in Salvador da Bahia ) is a German basketball player of Brazilian descent.
career
Hiller was born in Brazil and came to live with adoptive parents in Swabia as a toddler . He started playing basketball in Nagold in 2007 and switched to the youth department of SV 03 Tübingen as a teenager . He was used in the Tübingen teams in the youth basketball league and junior basketball league . In December 2014 he celebrated his debut in the basketball league in the Walter Tigers Tübingen jersey and at the age of 16 years and 15 days he became the youngest player to have played in the basketball league. In the summer of 2017, Hiller had to undergo a cruciate ligament operation and therefore later had to end his career in competitive sports. He played a total of eleven Bundesliga games for Tübingen. In the summer of 2019, he left Tübingen for professional reasons and moved to the Rhineland.
National team
Hiller played for the German U18 team at the “3-on-3” European Championship in Hungary in 2015, and in May 2018 he was appointed to the “3-on-3” men's national team.
