The Jezioro Rajgrodzkie (German: Raygrodsee ) is a lake on the area of the Polish city of Rajgród ( Raygrod ) in the Powiat Grajewski (Grajewo) in the Podlaskie Voivodeship . Jezioro Stackie and Przepiórka, the two northern arms of the lake, are located in the powiat Ełcki ( Lyck ) in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in the municipality of Kalinowo ( Kallinowen ). The border with East Prussia used to run there .
The lake is about 15 km² in size, its size fluctuates depending on the water level. It is up to 52 m deep and is one of the 20 largest lakes in Poland . The lakes belong to the Pojezierze Ełckie ( Lyck Lake District ) of the Masurian Lake District .
The lake feeds the Jegrznia and the Kuwasy Canal. He himself is fed by the Lega . A waterway leads over it from Olecko ( Oletzko or Treuburg ) to Augustów .
