Jeffrey Wooldridge

Jeffrey Marc Wooldridge (* 1960 ) is an American econometrician at Michigan State University .

Wooldridge studied computer science and economics at the University of California (1982) and received his Ph.D. in economics there 1986. He was five years assistant professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and from 1993 professor at Michigan State University .

Wooldridge is a Fellow of the Econometric Society . In 1991 he received a research grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation ( Sloan Research Fellowship ). He is known for his book publications in the field of econometrics .
