Jeffrey Ntuka (born May 10, 1985 in Kroonstad , † January 21, 2012 ) was a South African football player .

Athletic career

As a young player, Ntuka moved to Chelsea , where he was promoted to the reserve team in 2003. In the same year, the club awarded him to the Belgian cooperation partner KVC Westerlo . In his first year in the first class he vacillated between bench and starting line-up, from the 2004/05 season he established himself as a regular player. In total, he stayed in Belgium for five years as a loan player, playing 93 league games and moving up to the national team in the South African national team under national coach Stuart Baxter in 2005 . In December 2008 he returned to England, but missed the inclusion in the squad of the competition team.

In the spring of 2009 Ntuka moved to South Africa to the Kaizer Chiefs , but was only used infrequently in the Premier Soccer League - not least because he was struggling with alcohol problems. In 2010 he moved to Supersport United , where he also missed the breakthrough and was without a club after his contract expired in 2011.

In January 2012, following a nightclub visit, Ntuka had an argument during which he was stabbed.
