Yechiel ben Yekutiel ANAW (* 1260, † 1289 ) was a in Rome acting rabbinical author.

Life

Jechiel ben Jekutiel Anaw was the grandson of Benjamin ben Abraham Anaw . He wrote 31 works, which can be found in 91 publications in 4 languages ​​and 235 libraries. Some of the best-known works ascribed to him are Tanja Rabbati and a work that was first published in Constantinople in 1512 under the title “Beit Middot” in Hebrew בית מדותand in Cremona in 1556 under the title “Ma'alot ha-Middot”, as well as an edition of the Talmud Jeruschalmi and a “Kinah” on the synagogue fire in Rome, 1268.
